Jabuticaba (Plinia cauliflora) or to make it easier Brazilian Grapetree
is one of the weirdest fruit trees I have ever grown, its not the
prettiest tree but OMG the fruit is delicious! Its kind of like a
Rambutan or Lychee but the skin is edible (not that I eat it). I found
it difficult to know what to cook with this fruit as the skin is quite
tough and peeling is a no go.. My Mumma has made a jam with them and it
was wonderful so I am going to steal her recipe but add some liquer like
Grand Marnier. Now all I have to do is wait for them to ripen, so keep posted.
